Madd Gear Pro Scooters are made by the Australian manufacturer Madd Gear (also known as MGP Team). The company was formed in 2002 by an Aussie called Mike Horne. He wanted to make an Australian brand for local people. Australia is known for its’ extensive outdoor sport scheme. And what would be a better outdoor sports niche to tap in than Pro Scooters!

Looks like they did well. Because in 2010 they expanded to US, UK and other European markets. Many suppliers welcomed the Aussie riders warmly. Because they knew about Madd Gear. And how quality stuff they make. They saw a potential in Madd Gear rides. A potential to make customers happy and make the company money.

Thinking ahead I’d see the MGP team developing new and exciting rides for us pro scooter lovers. They are on a good streak now – and they know it themselves. They want to keep their customers happy and keep the company profitable. That’s a good plan and I’d say they will succeed.
